DIY Pulpit Plans - Coming soon

Your budget might not reach to one of our pulpits. With some DIY skills you could make your own.

The pulpits we sell require particular materials that are often difficult to get. The process of manufacture is also difficult, requiring precision computer controlled machinery and moulds that we have spent thousands of dollars to make. Not good if you are trying to make a pulpit at home!

For this reason, I have tried to design one made from readily available materials you can get from the hardware store. It is a classic T shape lectern. You can make it from inexpensive plywood and pine, then paint it black. Alternatively you can make it using a solid timber like Canadian maple (a sustainable wood that looks great and which is a by product of maple syrup production) then stain or varnish (polyurethane) it to give it a warmer look.

Plans will be up soon.

Kind regards,

Stephen Procter

In the meantime, feel free to have a look at videos answering popular questions about our pulpits.
