Procson (formerly 'the Pulpit Company') is a specialised business dedicated to providing a unique church lectern designed especially for contemporary sanctuaries. We now export a large proportion to churches around the world. For six years before starting Procson, I Stephen Procter was privileged to design and make many pieces of church furniture for Hillsong Church and others throughout Australia.

Despite the myriad of traditional supplies available, it become clear that there was a need for a lectern that reflected the needs of vibrant and growing contemporary churches. In late 2004, I began discussing needs with local pastors in Sydney Australia, prototyping and testing. The products on this site are the best designs from a large number of prototypes that were built and tested.

Obviously the focal point for much of the service is the preacher and church pulpit.
